You’ll always be notified of upcoming Hall Fee payments via email. There will be two emails: A ServiceNow notification, and a HostelBilling E Bill.

Read on to find out more.

When are hall
fees due?

Hall fees are not charged on a monthly basis.

Your first payment will be due as part of your Hall Acceptance Fee. This will cover a period of two months from August to September.

The next payment period will begin in end-September, and will cover the rest of your hall fees for that semester.

In the second semester, you’ll pay your entire semester’s hall fees in one shot. This payment period will begin in early March.

Hostel E Billing will send you emails more regularly to update you on the status of your fee payments.

If you’ve already paid, your latest E-Bill will be $0.00.

How can I pay?

To pay, you have a few options:
1. GIRO

If you would like to set up a GIRO account for your school fees payment, you'll need to do so in advance. This should be done more than 2 weeks before fees are due.  Tuition Fees are usually due halfway through the semester, AKA in Sept & March each year. For more information, read on here at the official NTU webpage on this.

2. PayNow

Inside your E-bill, there will be a PayNow QR code. Simply log into your bank's PayNow-compatible app and scan to pay. The amount & reference number will be keyed in for you. Make sure your payment limit is enough for this transaction to go through.

3. Credit/Debit Card

Alternatively, you can log into the One Stop Portal & select "Undergraduate - Tuition Fee, Misc and/or Late Fee" under Payment Services. Here, you can use a credit/debit card to pay directly.

3. Flywire

For international payments with foreign currency/cards, you can pay using FlyWire Payment Portal. This can be accessed via a personalised link in your E-Bill or through the One Stop Portal Payment Services.

4. ICBC

Users of ICBC accounts in China can also make a direct bank transfer to NTU at this link, but only using Microsoft Edge browsers.

Remember to pay promptly, or a late penalty fee will be charged.
